Province of Sassari – Trial installation of protective barrier for motorcyclists (SPM).

The SPM barrier is positioned below the classical metal barrier and is made of glass fiber and resin.

The system works by preventing motorcyclists from hitting the posts of the traditional metal barrier and redirecting them towards the direction of travel to prevent them from dropping into the center of the roadway.
